This week Tom passed his B+E Trailer test in style without a single fault. Andrew his trainer was well impressed and said” I knew Tom would pass but I did not expect a clear round, during his training Tom worked hard and took on board everything and as I have always said, you get the right training you get results, well done Tom”.

Number One World ranking Olympic Pentathlete passes with Taylor Made Driving

Olympic Siver medalist Heather Fell passed her trailer test 1st time today and her trainer Andrew said ” it was quite difficult fitting in Heather’s training due to competitions and training sessions which start at 5.30am, but we got the right result in the end, well done”. Everyone from Taylor Made Driving pass on there congratulations to Heather.

Harriet gets Gold Rospa for Advanced Driving

Yet another Rospa Gold Pass for Taylor Made Driving and Today it was Harriet Raybould who passed at her 1st attempt.

This was a great achievement for mum to be and everyone from Taylor Made Driving pass on there congratulations.

Nick Achieves a Double with Taylor Made Driving School

Today Nick Greensmith completed a double for Taylor Made Driving School after passing his Advanced Driving test. He achieved a 1st time Gold drive on his Rospa test following up his 1st time B+E Trailer pass.

This is a great achievement we’d like to congratulate him on behalf of everyone from Taylor Made Driving.

Taylor Made Driving Accepts all major Credit and Debt Cards

As from Tuesday 14th April 2009, Taylor made Driving will be introducing a new payment method. All major credit and Debit cards will be accepted, which will give pupils a more flexible way to pay for Driving Lessons.

Driving Standards Agency announces changes to test fees

The DSA has announced that their test fees are to rise, commencing from the 30th march 2009.

Theory Test – £31.00

Practical Test (Standard Driving Lessons) – £62.00

B + E (Trailer Test) – £115.00

Jill Taylor Passed her ROSPA Advanced Driving Test today and was awarded the highest grade of Gold. Andrew her trainer was very pleased and said “it was a great achievement to get Gold standard on her 1st attempt, well done”.

As consumer trends continue to change and the internet seems to be taking hold of us more and more, Taylor Made Driving School has consequently decided to change its image and get a new website.

The site, designed by Media Street, aims to make it easier for our customers to find out about us and aid them towards making the right choice as far as driving lessons are concerned.

Theory Test Explained

Theory tests are broken up into two parts. Firstly you have a set of multiple choice questions and then, after the questions, you get a hazard perception test. The whole test is conducted in a room on a computer using both a touch screen and a standard mouse.

The Test

Part 1- Multiple Choice Questions

For cars and motorcycles your asked 50 questions in 57 minutes. To pass you need over 43 correct answers.

For lorries and buses you’ll be asked 100 questions in 115 minutes. To pass you need over 85 correct answers.

Part 2- Hazard Perception

For cars and motorcycles you’ll watch 14 seperate video clips, all showing some form of a developing hazzard. Your score will be created depending on the time it takes you to notice and click on the developing hazzard. The maximum score, per click, is 5 marks. To pass the hazard perception test you’ll need to get 50 out of 75.

For lorries you have 19 video clips and the pass mark is 67 out of 100.

Theory Test Requirements

* A valid UK provisional drivers license.
* A valid debit or credit card for payment.

You can either book your theory test online or by calling the theory test booking line. To gain a standard driving license please bear in mind you’ll also have needed to complete your practical test, after Standard Driving Lessons.
