Passed my driving test a few months back and it is the best thing I have ever done. I changed driving schools after having problems with my last one and was given Paul as my instructor. He was fantastic! He didn’t once make me feel nervous like my last one did, and even if I scraped the cars wheels he never batted an eyelid. After learning with Marcus since January 2011 and being an extremely nervous driver I passed my test on 17th October 2011. Marcus was very patient and very easy going especially when I got too nervous!
Now that I have been driving a month I have purchased a car! Never thought I’d be saying that! Whether you do an hour or so a week or intensively Marcus will be a great instructor!

Peta was an amazing instructor. I had failed several tests previously and she helped me build my shattered confidence back up, giving me lots of advice about how to keep calm and relaxed not only during the test but also driving normally. She was very flexible with lesson times, as I now live away from Exeter, and was always so welcoming, friendly and kind. I now feel like a really confident driver and I would recommend her to anyone. Passed my trailer test today with the help of Andrew, was the 2nd time I took the test as the first time I panicked, but this time I was more relaxed and Andrew made you feel at ease when towing and gave you helpful tips. Well cant be bad when the first time failed as couldnt even get towards the bay, then the 2nd time reversing in first time and at the end of the test finding had NO faults at all!! Thanks Andrew! I was really nervous when I first started learning to driving but Marcus was really nice and I calmed down enough to really start enjoying my lesson. Marcus is great at giving advice and reassurance. After years of occasional sets of driving lessons I got in touch with Taylor made driving.. My driving instructor Peta was truly brilliant.. If she can teach an underconfident, hormonal pregnant woman with baby brain to drive and pass her test first time in less than four months than she can teach anyone. I just wanted to say what a great instructor Peta was. I had taken and failed tests before which had really knocked my confidence, but when I came to Peta she built it up again so well, and now I’ve passed! She was always patient and understanding, especially when I thought it was all too much! Through her instruction and knowledge of driving I learnt so much more with her than I ever had before. Me and my boyfriend had Roger at the same time! Roger was an amazing instructor, he is patient and puts you at ease. He doesn’t waste any time in helping you achieve confidence on the road and makes driving lessons a quick, simple and fun experience. I would recommend him to anyone learning to drive, I passed first time after 26 hours and he was a really lovely person too, which just makes the whole experience nicer! Thank you Roger! Just wanted to say what an amazing driving instructor Hayley was…she made me feel so relaxed in lessons and told me how to improve in a way that never knocked my confidence. She always encouraged me and responded to how I was feeling that day, never pushing or shouting at me. Marcus is one excellent instructor and understands you can be relaxed yet still convey the important things you need to know. His mix of witty responses when you make silly (but not dangerous!) mistakes and simple, straightforward advice, help and the all important instruction you need made it a breeze. Paul Turner’s driving instruction was fantastic from start to finish. His patience ensured my confidence grew from lesson one and I was able to pass first time with only 8 minors within 16 lessons. He gives very clear and constructive guidance; I would recommend him to anyone new to driving. I didn’t start of with Taylor Made but after about 15 hours of lessons my old instructor decided to quit, i was initially very nervous about starting with a new instructor but Marcus made me feel very comfortable and quickly got to grips with what i could and couldn’t do. he helped iron out my bad habits and eventually pass my test. Andrew Comments: Having been driving for years many, many bad habits had been adopted. I dont think Andrew realised what he had taken on- and I wanted to pass my test within a month with lessons only on Saturdays due to Uni. Corners were driven at 60mph, motorway was drivin at 70mph, reversing was done at 0.5mph. NIGHTMARE student. However, within a month, test was passed first time with all of 3 minors. Chuffed. I took both my Trailer and Advanced Driving with Taylor Made Driving (T.M.D.), and enjoyed every minute of it. I passed my trailer test, and also I passed my advanced with a Gold standard. I couldn’t have done it without the flexibility and quality that T.M.D. have shown. I would recommend them to anyone, whether just learning to drive or wanting to take their Advanced. My instructor soon had my confidence back and was very good at explaining what it is he wanted me to do. My Instructor was very clear at explaining how to drive and the importance of safe driving.
